Ausangate Adventure provides top-quality trekking equipment to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients during their hiking experiences.

Tents:

One or two people can share a spacious tent from renowned brands such as North Face or Mountain Hardwear. These tents are designed to withstand high mountain weather conditions and provide reliable shelter during your adventure. You can rest assured that you will have a comfortable and secure place to rest after an exciting day. Below are some of the provided equipment.

Sleeping Bags:

We offer sleeping bags designed to withstand temperatures of up to -15°C / 5°F. However, if you are taller than 1.95 meters, you may not find a sleeping bag available for rent in Cusco. In this case, we recommend that you bring your own. Additionally, we provide bed liners for all customers, which are washed after each use. These liners should be considered in the total weight of the sleeping bag.

Sleeping Mat and Pad:

We include a foam mat and a sleeping pad to provide insulation and separation from the ground during the night, essential for a good rest on the cold Andean nights.

Dining and Kitchen Tents:

We set up tents equipped with tables and chairs so you can enjoy your meals comfortably during the trek. Additionally, we have a separate kitchen tent where our staff prepares the delicious meals you'll enjoy during your adventure. This setup ensures a pleasant environment for dining and allows our kitchen team to prepare your dishes with comfort and efficiency.

Hygienic Tents with Private Bathroom:

At Ausangate Adventure, we ensure to provide adequate sanitary facilities and privacy for our hikers during the trek. To achieve this, we offer portable bathrooms and individual tents specifically designated for this purpose. These facilities guarantee a hygienic environment and provide the necessary privacy for you to enjoy your trekking experience comfortably and peacefully.

Our Hiking Poles:

Hikers often find trekking poles beneficial for providing extra support and maintaining stability, especially on rugged terrain, adapting to the changing surfaces of trekking paths.

Our Horsemen and Horses:

Our horsemen hail from various local communities, such as Ausangate and Rainbow Mountain, among others. We ensure to hire responsible and dedicated horsemen committed to their work. Thanks to their dedication, they perform exceptionally well in carrying your belongings along the trail loaded on horses.

In addition to safely transporting your luggage to each campsite, our horsemen are instrumental in providing you with an unforgettable travel experience. As knowledgeable experts of the area and trail, they can be of great assistance in emergency situations.

Alongside our hiking and camping team, we have horses that assist us in luggage transportation. Each of these magnificent animals can carry up to 40 kg of hikers' belongings.
