Office Staff
Our office team is the engine that drives our operations, dedicated to creating memorable travel experiences for our clients. They work tirelessly, handling everything from reservations and customer service to itinerary customization and comprehensive logistical management. Their deep travel knowledge, combined with exceptional organizational and customer service skills, ensures that each experience is unique and tailored to the interests and needs of every traveler.
Our Guides
Ausangate Adventure's guides are 100% local, hailing from diverse villages and communities in Cusco. They masterfully lead groups through stunning landscapes and high elevations, ensuring no detail or tip for a more enjoyable hike is overlooked.
Our guides are Tourism graduates and have undergone rigorous testing to lead treks such as Ausangate and Rainbow Mountain, among others. Each group is accompanied by at least one guide, with two guides for groups larger than 8, overseeing all logistics from hotel pickup to return.
Proficient in English, Spanish, and Quechua, they possess comprehensive knowledge of the trails, handling cold weather impacts on hikers, and identifying local flora and fauna. They excel as conversationalists and photographers, guaranteeing an engaging and visually stunning journey at every turn.
Trekking Cooks
Our trekking cooks ensure that every meal during our journeys is an exceptional culinary experience. With exceptional culinary skills, they are dedicated to creating nutritious and delicious dishes using local ingredients whenever possible. Whether with traditional Peruvian or international dishes, they cater to various dietary restrictions to meet the needs of every traveler while they enjoy their journey.
Arrieros (Horsemen)
Our Arrieros, experts in animal handling, play a vital role in our expeditions. They are responsible for supervising and caring for the pack animals that transport supplies during our treks, ensuring their welfare and the safe delivery of all necessary equipment. Thanks to their deep knowledge of local terrain and their roots in Andean communities, they are indispensable for ensuring the success and ethics of our expeditions.
