By booking a tour with Ausangate Adventure, you agree to all of our terms and conditions.

1. Bookings

To confirm any service, passengers must provide a copy or photo of a valid passport, including their full name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, and sex.
A booking is confirmed once the required deposit has been paid.
The deposit amount varies depending on the tour and covers operational expenses such as entrance fees, train tickets, and accommodation, when included in the package.
Once payment and availability have been confirmed, the service is fully guaranteed.

2. Payment Methods

WeTravel

WeTravel is a secure platform for international payments.

Credit or Debit Cards

A processing fee of approximately 4% to 5% applies to credit and debit card payments.

ACH Transfer

An ACH electronic bank transfer option may be available for international payments, with an approximate 2% processing fee.

International Bank Transfer

An additional fee of approximately USD 25 may apply, depending on the issuing bank.

Payment of the Remaining Balance

The outstanding balance may be paid up to 5 days before your arrival or upon arrival in Cusco.

Cash payments are accepted without an additional fee. Card payments are subject to a 5% processing fee.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Traditional Tours

Cancellations made up to 3 days before the scheduled tour: 100% refundable.
Cancellations made less than 3 days before the tour: 70% of the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
No-show: non-refundable.

Machu Picchu Tours

Cancellations made up to 1 month before the scheduled tour: 70% of the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made up to 7 days before the tour: 80% of the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour: non-refundable.
Date changes are not permitted once Machu Picchu tickets have been issued.

Trekking Tours

Cancellations made up to 1 month before the scheduled tour: 70% of the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made up to 7 days before the tour: 80% of the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the tour: non-refundable.
Once the tour has started, no refund will be provided if a passenger decides to abandon the trek.

Hotels

Hotel cancellations and refunds are subject to the terms and conditions established by each hotel.

4. Force Majeure

In the event of natural disasters, strikes, road closures, public unrest, health emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, Ausangate Adventure may:

Reschedule the service if conditions allow.
Offer an alternative service.
Evaluate a partial refund based on costs and services already incurred or paid for.

5. Travel Insurance

Our services do not include medical or travel accident insurance. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive international travel insurance before your trip.

In the event of an emergency, we will provide first aid and assist with coordinating medical care. Any medical, transportation, or related expenses will be the passenger's responsibility.

6. Passport and Machu Picchu Entry

Passengers must present their original passport when required for Machu Picchu entry.
The information provided for the issuance of entrance tickets cannot be modified once the tickets have been issued.
If a passenger renews or changes their passport after making a booking, they must inform Ausangate Adventure before traveling.
